What is an air source heat pump?
Air source heat pumps are designed to take the heat from the outside air and deliver it as heating and hot water in an optimised efficient way. They are cost effective and can deliver heat to underfloor heating, radiators and hot water cylinders.
Will having an air source heat pump installed reduce my carbon footprint?
Yes most certainly having an air source pump installed can drastically reduce your carbon foot print by lowering emissions that would be created by oil or gas systems.
Can an air source heat pump provide all of my heat and hot water?
We complete a full heat loss calculation. Your heat pump, cylinder size and radiator sizes are based on this. So your heat pump will take care of 100% of your heating and hot water demand.
Are they low maintenance and do they require servicing?
Air Source Heat Pumps are low maintenance, however, it is recommended to keep your heat pump operating a consistent temperature, and only increasing/ decreasing by a couple of degrees in order to efficiently run the system. It is recommended to have an annual service, which we can provide, in order to maintain warranties.
How much are air source heat pumps?

Am I eligible for any government grants?
If you are considering replacing your existing heating system with an air source heat pump, or you are building your own home, you may be eligible for the £7,500 grant available through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
This government incentive is designed to support homeowners and self-builders in switching to low carbon heating systems.
The grant is paid directly to the installer and deducted from your installation cost, meaning you benefit immediately without needing to claim the money yourself.
